Quail Summit Hosting E-waste Fundraiser

The event will take place Saturday, February 11.

Quail Summit Elementary School is looking to raise $1,500 during a fundraiser this Saturday, which will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Proceeds will go towards purchasing additional copy machine quantities.

A 28-foot Goodwill trailer will be on campus, and organizers are hoping that it gets filled with donations from the community, including gently used clothes, shoes, and toys.

From February 6 to 10, bags and boxes of e-waste may also be dropped off in the school’s parking lot. Accepted items include cameras, computers and accessories (i.e. cables, hard drives, monitors), PDAs, iPods, printers, radios, gaming systems (Wii, PlayStation, Xbox), scanners, VCRs and DVD players, shredders, stereo equipment, typewriters, televisions, fax machines, and more.

Organizers ask that bulk items be dropped off on February 11.

Quail Summit Elementary School is at 23330 E. Quail Summit Dr., Diamond Bar.
