POLL: What Should Happen to Site D?

Do you want to see the land developed, or stay as it is?

During Tuesday night’s Diamond Bar City Council, the Site D Specific Plan was discussed. Site D, owned by the Walnut Valley Unified School District, consists of about 30 undeveloped acres on the corner of Diamond Bar Boulevard and Brea Canyon Road.

Originally, the plan was to have half of the area developed into a commercial space, and half into housing. The January 2012 Site D Specific Plan now calls for 200 dwelling units and a two-acre park.

What do you think should happen to Site D? Vote in our poll.

50% residential/50% park. We don't have enough usable park land in the city.

Until the city can hire somebody with the mental capacity to properly program the traffic lights (unlike the mentally disabled idiot(s) that currently have DB's traffic lights completely screwed-up), I believe we should leave the land as it is since the city cannot handle one more potential traffic-snarling "input."
